I love showing off Before and After shots of the photos I edit. It’s so cool to see the difference and really appreciate the work that goes into it. I’m obsessed with everything about photography and can’t wait to keep learning more!
Before Shot
Snapped this photo in Downtown Statesville. This awesome young lady wanted some candid/model shots, and honestly, everything just clicked—the setting, the light, and, of course, her! It was mid-afternoon, clear skies, and I used my Canon Rebel T7 in Landscape mode to capture this. Looking at this shot, you can almost feel her dreaming big, figuring out what she wants for her future. Huge thanks to Reagan for letting me capture her stunning self in this raw photo!

After Editing
Since this photo gives me the 'dreamy' vibe, I softened the whole photo a tad, added some white haze on the outer corners and increased the color pop. To enhance the overall mood, I also played around with the lighting balance, gently brightening the highlights while deepening the shadows. This subtle contrast added depth and dimension, drawing the viewer's eye to the focal points while maintaining the ethereal feel of the photograph.
